3 Insanely Delicious (And Legitimately Healthy) Wine Slushies

Many of the booze-infused frozen blends out there call for unnecessary added sweeteners, soda, and even ice cream. Our mission: Create cleaner versions, loaded with nothing but lower-sugar wines, antioxidant-packed frozen fruit, and a little plain seltzer. Whether you prefer red, white, or something bubbly, we've got your healthy summer buzz covered with these 3 recipes.

Mango-Peach Champagne Slushy

Serves 2

Puree 1 cup frozen mango, 1 cup frozen peaches, and 2 cups dry champagne or prosecco in blender until smooth. (Feel free to cut down on the amount of alcohol by subbing with plain seltzer.) Add additional fruit, champagne, seltzer, or ice to tweak your slushy's texture.

Strawberry-Lime White Wine Slushy

Serves 2

Puree 2 cups frozen strawberries, 1½ cups semi-dry white wine (like a Sauvignon blanc, Pinot Grigio, or dry Riesling), ½ cup seltzer, and the juice of half a lime in blender until smooth. Add additional seltzer, fruit, wine, or ice to tweak your slushy's texture. Garnish with lime.

Mixed Berry Red Wine Slushy

Serves 2

Puree 2 cups frozen mixed berries (cherries, raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries), 1½ cups semi-dry red wine (a red blend or Cabernet Sauvignon works well), and ½ cup unflavored seltzer in blender until smooth. Add additional seltzer, fruit, wine, or ice to tweak your slushy's texture.
